Sol Radiology Awarded Advanced Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation From The Joint Commission

Victorville, CA, June 3rd 2024– Sol Radiology has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Advanced Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.

Sol Radiology underwent a rigorous, unannounced onsite review on March 4-5, 2024. During the visit, a team of Joint Commission reviewers evaluated compliance with Advanced Diagnostic Imaging program standards spanning several areas including safety, infectious control, protocols, procedures, performance by all staff and physicians.

The Joint Commission’s standards are developed in consultation with health care experts and providers, measurement experts and patients. They are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help health care organizations measure, assess and improve performance. The surveyors also conducted onsite observations and interviews.

Sol Radiology did a detailed review of all The Joint Commission standards and carefully aligned them with the organization’s policies. Staff focused on understanding and meeting each standard, addressing any compliance gaps through updates to policies, procedures, education and a mock survey. This proactive approach ensures we meet industry best practices in all areas of operation.
